  • Re-issue long term skills overview to ensure that each year team are focusing on prioritised key elements.
  • Ensure that key areas of the subject improvement plan are revisited and staff reminded, where relevant.

  • Plan lesson observations
  • Staff INSET feeding back on last year’s action research work on progression

November

  • KS2 lesson observation
  • Work sampling Y3 first half-term topic
  • Interview 3 pupils from each of the three classes to elicit their views on history

December

  • Meet year 3 team to feedback findings from interviews etc, and come up with a few action points for next history topic in second half of spring term

January

  • Meet link governor to discuss plans/progress

February

  • Plan Ancient Greek unit alongside with Year team, which has a new leader and 2 members of staff who haven’t taught the topic
