This part of the site contains a dozen detailed fully-developed enquiry-led, key question-driven medium term plans for all the major KS1 history -led topics. They have all been judged to be outstanding by an experienced OFSTED history inspector. All the recent ones have the added benefit of containing all the associated outstanding lessons and resources you need to make them work for you. But please note that in some cases the plan is supported by only some resourced lessons, not all. The reason why the plan is included is that you can create your own resources from the enquiry questions and suggested activities provided.
Many schemes even contain common assessment tasks, with mark schemes and examples of pupils’ work.
NB The resources you need are all contained within the individual outstanding lessons mentioned in the planner. So if you are buying a planner, please note that you will need to purchase the lessons that go with it too.
The most recent additions are: The sinking of the Titanic Y2 (May 2018). Man’s First Moon Landing (May 2017), Scott of the Antarctic (March 2016), Going to the Seaside (February 2016) and The Great Fire of London from Belleville Primary School
