This part of the site contains a dozen detailed fully-developed enquiry-led, key question-driven medium term plans for all the major KS1 history -led topics. They have all been judged to be outstanding by an experienced OFSTED history inspector. All the recent ones have the added benefit of containing all the associated outstanding lessons and resources you need to make them work for you. Many schemes even contain common assessment tasks, with mark schemes and examples of pupils’ work.
The most recent additions are: Man’s First Moon Landing (May 2017), Scott of the Antarctic (March 2016), Going to the Seaside (February 2016) and The Great Fire of London from Belleville Primary School (January 2016) with whom I recently worked extensively.
Coming soon a totally new medium-term plan for Louis Braille, which will be carefully cross-referenced to existing and newly-written outstanding lessons. Additionally we will be updating and completing the resources and outstanding lessons for Mary Anning, Wright brothers, and Amy Johnson.
