This assessment task provides 3 images which should prompt pupils to show their knowledge and understanding of Rosa Parks’ significance. It should enable pupils to show not only the nature of Rosa’s protest on the bus in Montgomery in 1955 but also her work for civil rights before and after the event for which she is best remembered and which triggered wider protests which in turn led to reform.
