
Teaching in front of colleagues who are sitting at the back of your own classroom is nerve-wracking enough. To know that they will be passing judgement as well can be daunting. It goes without saying, therefore, that you need to feedback with sensitivity as well as clarity. Try to make it as relaxed as possible. This is not an inspection. They are your colleagues. You work together. They want to feel that they are doing their best. Your job is to make sure they teach at the top of their game as often as is realistic to expect.
