Great way into interpretations with the Tudors at KS2

Great fun working with a Tudor specialist whose book on the background to the Break With Rome had the wording on its cover completely changed to appeal to a broader mass market. In so doing the publishers were privileging Henry VII’s iconic status and the well-known story of the royal divorce  over the books’ true focus on diplomatic activity in Italy.

A PowerPoint presentation showing how the book cover’s image, as well as the title, was changed, will appear next week. Subscribers can request a sneak preview.
