If you were hoping to see Lord Sackville’s 4,500 page report into events on Bloody Sunday, 30 Jan 1972, you may have to wait a little longer as the process of releasing the report is likely to be enmired by the lead up to the general election. At a cost of £200 million , with the recorded evidence standing 6 feet high, it is hoped that the report will bring some closure for families involved. How the report will be leaked/released may well determine its credibility.Publication is expected on 22 March , but that may go to plan. Watch this space.
