Leading history at Key Stage 3

Experienced subject leaders who have seen this site have all commented initially that they wish that something similar had been available when they became subject leaders.  They then looked deeper and found that there is so much here that they can draw on week-in week-out.  Not only is there exceptionally useful advice on how to carry out effective self-evaluation, there are also examples of outstanding practice that you cannot afford not to look at!  Accompanying the more formal SEF materials are what are known as subject development grids.  These take an aspect of departmental practice, say assessment, and show the next steps you need to be taking to move the aspect on.
